Crime does not pay! This robber picked the wrong couple!

Crime does not pay!  A Selma, Alabama couple were in their driveway when a male subject tried to rob them.  Thankfully, the male homeowner had his own protection.  The best part of the story is he used his own protection.  He pulled his firearm and could have saved the lives of his wife and himself.   Self-denfense at its best!  The would be robber did manage to shoot the husband.  Thankfully, the husband had a better shot because he could have very easily lost his life.  When will criminals learn that we are ready to fight for what we work for!  This robber will no longer live to rob unsuspecting homeowners again!

“An armed robbery suspect was shot and killed Wednesday night after trying to rob a man and woman in their driveway.”

“According to Selma Police Chief Spencer Collier, the incident happened around 11:30 p.m. on the 1500 block of Leroy Street.”

“The male victim, who was shot by the suspect, has treated for his injury and released.”

“Collier said the suspect was killed in what appears to be an act of self-defense. The male victim is a convicted felon. Felons by law are not allowed to be in possession of a firearm. Collier said the male victim has not been charged.”
