Angler lands 64 pound striper in Massachusetts!

I bet this was one heck of a fight!  A Massachusetts angler hooked into a 64 pound striper.  The fish was so big it would not fit in the cooler.  I caught a 2o pounder one time in a local river and that fish fought like there was no tomorrow.   The angler tried to revive the monster striper but was unable to.  Unfortunately, that happens when fishing due to lengthy battles on the line.  The good thing is the angler will did not let the fish go to waste.  It is hard to beat a hearty meal of striped bass, whether grilled or fried.  Though this beast did not come close to the current Massachusetts state striped bass record, its still a great fish and will hold a great memory with this angler.  Congratulations on a fine fish!
