Kansas’ Ninnescah Sailing Association is offering “Learning to Sail” Courses!

As the temperature begins to heat up, water enthusiasts of all kinds start gearing up for time on the water.  The Ninnescah Sailing Association (NSA) out of Wichita, Kansas is once again offering sailing courses.  These courses are structured to help educate and prepare those ready to hit the water sailing.    Taking time to learn how to be safe on the water is important to beginners but a refresher course on safety never hurt even the most experienced of water goers.  The NSA promotes sailing through all aspects of training.  Check out the NSA’s course information to help keep your sailing adventures an enjoyable experience.  Sail on!

“Nothing says “summer” quite like sailing, and nobody knows sailing quite like the Ninnescah Sailing Association (NSA) at Cheney State Park. That’s why members of NSA are gearing up for another year of “Learning To Sail” courses this summer to introduce to others the joys of sailing. Open to members and non-members, the program is led by experienced, certified U.S. sailing instructors, who will share their knowledge of basic boat-handling skills, sailing terminology, watercraft safety, knot tying and more. And of course, plenty of time will be spent on the water.”
