Slow motion tarpon catch! [Video]

They say any fish on a fly is a good fish.  Of course the bigger the fish the better the fight.  This slow motion video of a tarpon hitting a fly is fantastic.  Being the angler doesn’t always let you get a good look at the fight happening on the end of your line.  Normally, you are focused on getting the fish in and miss a lot of the visual.  I think this is a great clip especially when the tarpon gains some air.  I hope you enjoy the short clip and the fireworks at the end!

“As an avid fly angler from Florida I can honestly say that nothing gets me fired up like seeing a tarpon crush a fly and then immediately go airborne.”
