Minnesota now accepting entries for 2018 Trout and Salmon Stamp!

Are you a wildlife artist?  If so, get your canvas out and start drawing.  Minnesota is now accepting entries for their 2018 Trout and Salmon stamp.  I always loved different types of wildlife stamps.  Duck stamps were fun to collect when I was younger.  The older I became the more I appreciated the artistic talent put into the entries.  The additional revenues from wildlife stamps are used for dedicated mamagement and habitat projects.  There are several ways to purchase these stamps.  Check out mndnr.gov/stamps for more information.  No matter what your medium, you could be the lucky artist and have be chosen to represent Minnesota’s trout and salmon!

“Wildlife artists can submit entries for the 2018 Minnesota Trout and Salmon Stamp through 4 p.m. Friday, July 28, according to the Department of Natural Resources.”

“Anglers can purchase the trout and salmon stamp validation with their fishing license for an additional $10. For an extra 75 cents, purchasers can receive the pictorial stamp. It is also sold as a collectible for $10.75. Revenue from stamp sales is dedicated to trout and salmon management and habitat work.”
