Michigan entrepreneur killed by one of Africa’s most dangerous animals!

What should have been an exciting safari for a Michigan family turned tragic earlier this month.  Carol Sue Kirken was killed by a hippo while vacationing in Tanzania.  The entrepreneur passed suddenly after the attack.  There are not many details of the attack.  Hippos are extremely dangerous and aggressive.  Numerous deaths occur each year from hippo attacks.  I’ve heard many times locals are more afraid of hippos than lions.  Prayers for this family as they deal with a shocking tragedy.  Keep reading for more on this story.

“A 75-year-old woman from Rochester Hills was on an African safari trip with her family when she was attacked and killed by a hippopotamus, according to Fox 2 Detroit. “

“Carol Sue Kirken, a local entrepreneur, grandmother and willing volunteer, died on Aug. 5 while on a family vacation in Tanzania. “
