With hunting season upon us, and as an avid hunter myself, I will say that I never felt “safe” wearing an orange safety vest. Accidents while hunting, while not a normal occurrence, can happen and nobody wants that. So, in my mind, it doesn’t hurt to take stronger measures to prevent accidentally getting shot by another hunter. (or as we military personnel call getting hit by “Friendly Fire”). I will say, that in all the years I’ve been hunting, I’ve never been accidentally shot, or even shot at.
