Ever since I published an article about the Taurus Judge, your responce was phenominal and I really appreciated that. But there have been those of you who mentioned the Smith & Wesson Model Governor, so I thought I’d put this out there for all of you who’ve asked about that. One thing I do want to mention, I don’t get any “payola”, or “kick-backs” from any of the companies I spotlight here at Great American Outdoors, I do what I do simply to entertain you, my readers.
Now, there is a big difference between the Judge and the Governor and that is, while the Judge can fire a 410 & a .45 Long Colt, the Governor takes it up a notch and fires a .410, a .45 Long Colt AND a .45 ACP.
Smith & Wesson has this to say abot the Model Governor:
Versatile. Lightweight. The Smith & Wesson Governor revolver puts six rounds of customizable response under your control. Load with .410 2 1/2″ shotshells, .45 ACP or .45 Colt – alone or in combination with the included moon clips* – and hit your target in every situation. Plus, it’s from the leading expert in revolver manufacturing over the past 159 years. Now that’s confidence.
Who would you vote for if the elections were held today?
*Each Governor® is packaged with (2) 6 round and (3) 2 round moon clips for use with .45 ACP.
A moon clip is a ring-shaped or star-shaped piece of metal designed to hold multiple cartridges together as a unit for simultaneous insertion and extraction from a revolver cylinder.
I’ll place the specs beneath the video for you.
