Here’s Something Interesting…Shotguns & Laser Beams (Oh My)

It’s been a while since we used one of Iraqveteran8888‘s YouTube videos in an article here at Great American Outdoors and do we have a special treat for you today!! Our good buddy Eric put a laser sight on a shotgun and as you’ll see in the video below, it seems to get the job done and after all, it’s all about the “BOOM”!!

Now, normally, one wouldn’t think of putting a laser sight on a shotgun, I mean, what’s the point right? But, for the sake of argument, we’ll play along and let him tell you why he did what he did and you can draw your own conclusions, okay?

The product in question is the LS250 from Crimson Trace  and here’s a little description of that product:

The LS-250 Lasersaddle™ is a feature-packed laser sighting solution for Mossberg 500, 590, & 590 Shockwave 12 Gauge & 20 Gauge Shotguns. Attaching seamlessly to the receiver, the LS-250 provides multiple ambidextrous laser activation pad points for instant targeting with a powerful 5mW red laser. As with all Crimson Trace laser sights, the LS-250 is user-adjustable for windage and elevation. The LS-250 features a Master On/Off Switch for completely powering down the system. This model provides 4 Hours of battery life with two provided CR2032 batteries. Fits Mossberg 500, 590 & 590 Shockwave in 12 Gauge and 20 Gauge only. Models must have receiver that is drilled and tapped. Does not fit .410 Bore.
