Watch As Bodycam Footage Shows LAPD Officers Shoot Suspect After He Pulls Out A Gun And Fires At Them

* (Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only) *

In  yet another video, we see the brave men and women of law enforcement doing what they do on a daily basis. There is no back story on the suspect in the video below, we only know that the officers involved responded to a call regarding  “a man with a gun”.

What this video does show, is that the criminal element all across the country have no respect, or fear of the police.

The blame for this lies squarely on the shoulders of the District Attorney, the Mayor and the Governor of democrat controlled cities and states. Their ‘soft on crime’ policies and subsequent defunding of our police forces, have led to an unprecedented increase in not only minor crimes, but violent crime as well.

When the criminals know that, they are more emboldened to do what they do, they also know that even though they ‘might’ be arrested and put in jail, they know that within 24 hours, they will be back on the street, allowing them to continue committing any crime they want.

At least in this situation, this suspect’s crime spree was cut short and he will not be able to continue with his life of mayhem and violent crime…good job guys!!

Here is a written description of what you will see and hear in the video below:

Los Angeles, California — On June 19, 2022, at around 10:40 p.m., Foothill Division patrol officers received a “415 Man with a Gun” radio call. The comments of the radio call documented the suspect’s description to include being in possession of a bicycle.

Upon the officers’ arrival to the area of Van Nuys Boulevard and Laurel Canyon Boulevard, they observed a person matching the description of the reported suspect armed with a firearm.

The officers exited their police vehicle to make contact with the suspect, utilizing their vehicle doors for cover. An officer gave the suspect verbal commands, the suspect walked in the direction toward the officers and removed a firearm from his front waist area, firing at the officers, resulting in an Officer- Involved Shooting (OIS).

The suspect was struck by the officers’ gunfire and taken into custody without further incident. Due to the suspect’s injury, a Rescue Ambulance transported the suspect to the hospital. While at the hospital, the assigned physician pronounced the suspect deceased.

The suspect was later identified as 24-year-old Oscar Santiago, a resident of Los Angeles. No Officers, victims, or bystanders were injured during this incident. Santiago’s loaded 9mm semi-automatic handgun was recovered at scene and will be booked as evidence.
