Watch As Scott Shows Us His “Street Sweeper🧹”

In the video below, Scott has something pretty cool (as shotguns go) to show us today. It’s the Armsel Striker, also known as the Sentinel Arms Co Striker-12, Protecta, Protecta Bulldog and SWD Street Sweeper. It’s a 12-gauge shotgun with a revolving cylinder that was designed for riot control and combat.

Now before you start looking for the link in this article that shows you where you can buy one of these little beasties…you will be disappointed to know that the ATF has deemed this particular shotgun as a ‘destructive device’.

The Striker and Street Sweeper were declared ‘destructive devices’ under the National Firearms Act with no sporting purpose by Treasury Secretary Lloyd Bentsen in 1994 and their transfer and ownership is regulated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).

The Striker-12/Streetsweeper shotgun has a bore of more than one-half inch in diameter and is not generally recognized as particularly suitable for sporting purposes. Therefore, it is classified as a destructive device for purposes of the National Firearms Act, 26 U.S.C. Chapter 53.

The Amsel Stiker was a two-handed, semi-automatic repeating shotgun firing a variety of 12 gauge ammunition from a 12-round rotating cylinder. The weapon featured a foldable stock, pistol grip with attached trigger group, a 12-inch barrel and an integrated foregrip.

So, the bottom line is; unless you have an FFL, chances are, you aren’t going to ever buy one of these shotguns and the only way you’ll ever get to fire one, is find someone with an FFL who already owns one (sorry).
