Oh Yeah You Guys Are Just Gonna Love This: Watch As A Farmer Takes ‘Extreme Measures’ To Deal With His Feral Hog Problem

Before we get going and you guys watch the video below, let’s get something perfectly clear, feral hogs are an invasive species, they are extremely destructive and if you got too close to them, they would inflict serious damage to your body as they are very aggressive! These animals are NOT ‘cute and cuddly’ little barnyard critters like ‘Wilbur’ in the cartoon movie ‘Charlotte’s Web’.

If you have a problem with that, maybe this isn’t  something you should see and therefore I would have NO PROBLEM with you not watching the video below. Also,  all of the animals killed do not go to waste and are butchered and the meat gets eaten.

As far as using a minigun to take them out, well that just adds flavor to the hunt and is a pretty darned cool idea, I wish I had thought of it first.

The producers of the video had this to say:

** Why Do We Hunt Hogs? **

Feral hogs are a non-native and invasive species in Texas. Each year hogs cause millions of dollars in damage in the form of damaged crops, contaminated water supplies, broken equipment, transmission of diseases and injury to livestock.

Feral hogs compete with native wildlife for resources and also prey directly on the eggs and young of ground nesting birds and will actively hunt small mammals, frogs, lizards and snakes.

Due to their intelligence, adaptability, and prolific breeding habits, traditional methods of hunting and trapping have been largely ineffective in reducing the feral hog population.

The introduction of night vision and thermal optics has greatly increased landowners’ ability to mitigate the destruction caused by feral hogs.

Feral swine are not considered game animals in Texas and may be hunted by any means or methods at any time of year.

Okay, if you’re still with us, enjoy the show!!
