Watch As Bodycam Shows Michigan Deputy Shoot Man Armed With Knife At A Gas Station

I have to admit, this one has me stumped, what in the blue hell was this suspect thinking when he threatened this officer? Sadly, this whole thing didn’t have to happen.
As I’ve said before, if you simply comply with the officer’s command(s), chances are you will survive . It’s almost as if this guy was playing a game with the policeman. Maybe he thought the cop wouldn’t shoot him, well he found out the hard way, when you threaten a cop with a deadly weapon, you will receive deadly force in return.
This is what happens when an entire generation has no respect for law enforcement. This isn’t a game, when you threaten a police officer with a knife, or a gun, there is a 99 percent chance you aren’t going home alive that day.
I blame not only the parents, but the entire mainstream media and Hollywood, they are teaching an entire generation to not have any respect for law enforcement. Cops are human beings just like the rest of us, all they want to do, is do their job and go home to their families when their shift is over.
Now this policeman has to deal with the fact that he has taken a human life, you can be pretty sure he didn’t think he would have to do that when he went in to work that day. Taking a human life is the worst thing one human being can do to another and anybody with a conscience knows that.
Here is a written description of what went on in the video below:
Galesburg, Michigan — The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office released body camera footage of an officer-involved shooting that left a Galesburg man dead early Monday morning. At approximately 2:45 am, Oct. 4, the Kalamazoo County Consolidated Dispatch Center received a 911 call from the Shell gas station on 35th street in Galesburg, Michigan.
The caller advised dispatchers there was an emergency and requested the police. No other information was given. A Kalamazoo County Deputy immediately arrived on scene and was confronted by R.V. Johnson, 22 with a knife. Johnson lunged at the deputy and the deputy fired his weapon striking the suspect. Galesburg and Charleston fire/rescue arrived on scene and gave lifesaving efforts. Johnson was pronounced deceased at the scene by responding medical personnel.
